The Aeroleaf™ is an innovative micro wind turbine featuring a patented design. It comprises a double-bladed structure with a vertical axis and a synchronous microgenerator equipped with permanent magnets. The rotation of the blade directly drives the system, eliminating the need for belts or gears. As the magnets traverse in front of the coils, they induce an alternating current. This current is seamlessly rectified into direct current, effectively summing up the generated currents.

AERODYNAMIC TECHNOLOGY

The Aeroleaf™ boasts an aerodynamic profile meticulously optimized to harness the power of winds ranging from a gentle 2.5 m/s to robust continuous winds of up to 43 m/s, with gusts reaching 50 m/s.


Utilizing advanced technology, the microprocessor performs calculations every 10 milliseconds, determining the optimal voltage-to-current ratio. This information guides the Aeroleaf™ to maintain an ideal rotation speed aligned with the power extraction curve.


Consequently, the Aeroleaf™ efficiently extracts maximum energy from the passing wind at any given moment, ensuring optimal performance. The Aeroleafs can be sold individually.

MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY

The Aeroleafs are connected in parallel to a switch box that contains all cables, legal safety devices and a battery pack. The size of the switch box depends on the number of Aeroleafs installed.


The Aeroleaf™ thus forms an electrical unit that can be deployed as close to the user as possible and is relevant for harnessing diffuse energies without additional structural costs.


The electricity produced by each Aeroleaf™ is immediately rectified to direct current which is fed in parallel to the 48V battery pack. The sum of the currents is done by the inverter which injects the alternating current directly into the local grid of the building or plant (TGBT).

turbulent or laminar WIND

The Aeroleaf™ constitutes a supplementary electrical generation system, leveraging a compact vertical axis wind turbine. This innovative technology effectively captures various wind conditions, be it turbulent or laminar, strong or light, in both urban and natural settings. A single Aeroleaf™ wind tree possesses the capacity to supply power to private residences, public facilities like parking lots, offices, and even electric vehicle charging stations. Ideal locations for Aeroleaf™ installation encompass roofs, terraces, roadsides, masts, pylons, lampposts, and other supportive structures capable of handling the forces and vibrations transmitted by the rotating blade.

The Aeroleaf™ features an aerodynamically optimized profile designed to harness energy from winds ranging from the gentlest breezes (starting at 2,5 m/s) to the most robust gusts (up to 43 m/s continuously, 50 m/s in gusts). A microprocessor recalculates the voltage-to-current ratio every 10 milliseconds, guiding the Aeroleaf™ to adjust its rotation speed for optimal alignment with the ideal power extraction curve. This ensures that the Aeroleaf™ captures the maximum energy available from the passing wind at every moment.

AEROLEAF HYBRID

The Aeroleaf Hybrid™ comprises a standard Aeroleaf™ and a solar petal of 29.5 cm², seamlessly integrating the advantages of both solar and wind energy.  This innovative technology enables a twofold increase in the electrical production of the Aeroleaf™.

The solar panels consist of a 2 mm thick semi-flexible photovoltaic film affixed to the upper surface of each petal, constructed from stress-minimizing aluminum. The slight tilt minimizes wind resistance, allowing the blade to benefit from leading edge acceleration and achieving an energy gain of approximately ± 5%.

Operating quietly due to its small blade radius (resulting in limited air circulation) and the absence of belts and gears, the Aeroleaf Hybrid™ ensures a noise-free experience.
